Full Moon Llama-Trek and Nature Retreat:

For this adult-only retreat we begin with a hike up the beautiful Rio Blanco headwaters, where we
serve a wholesome and organic meal along the banks of the river. After lunch we hang out along
the river, where you can take a "beach hike", toss in a line or just sit back and enjoy the pristine
beauty of this wilderness retreat. We then hike back down through majestic stands of aspen and
colorful mountain meadows to the base camp along the Rio Blanco.
After familiarizing you with the camp accommodations, which includes tents and teepees, a kitchen
area, outhouses and a camp shower, you are treated to a selection of fine organic wines and teas,
an elaborate spread of organic fruits, cheese, meats and appetizer-style tapas. The bonfire offers
an atmosphere of camaraderie, where guests can enjoy the glow of the full moon on the
surrounding peaks of the South San Juans. The following day, a late breakfast is served along the
banks of the river.
Come howl at the moon in one of the most spectacular all-inclusive wilderness escapes in the
South San Juan mountains. The llama-trek departs from the base camp at 9:00 am. Lunch is
served on the trail and dinner and breakfast are served at the base camp.

We can pack in your drop camp and supplies to your desired location. Rates are dependent upon
the load that you need carried and the location. Typical rates run around $50 per llama each way,
plus a minimal guide fee. Call us for a quote that is pertinent to your situation.
