Private Teepees on the banks of the Rio Blanco

Adult-only retreat on the pristine headwaters of the Rio Blanco, surrounded by the spectacular peaks of
the South San Juan Wilderness Area. Accommodations include: comfortably adorned private teepees
on the banks of the river with a full- or queen-sized bed; a camp kitchen and dining area; outhouses with
composting toilets; primitive, beach-side solar showers; and a large communal fire pit .
Located just 20 miles from Pagosa Springs!
- Private, riverside teepees.
- For overnight visitors, a complete breakfast of organic and natural selections is served on the
morning of your departure. For guests that stay multiple nights, a bag lunch is provided for your
leisure dining convenience. A dinner option is also available for an additional $25 per person.
- Special diets can be accommodated when mentioned with your reservation.
- Extensive hiking, biking and touring opportunities with convenient access to several National
Forest trailheads.
- Daily and overnight Llama-trekking Adventures available at a discounted rate.
Price: $125 per couple, $75 per person.
Schedule: June through September. Check-in daily at 5pm.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received more than 7 days in advance will receive a full refund. A
25% cancellation fee is charged for cancellations made between 7 days and 24 hours in advance. No
refund is given for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance. For Special Events, cancellations
must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund, and a full refund is given if we cancel the
event due to inclement weather.
Directions from Pagosa Springs:

Travel south on U.S. Hwy 84. At about 8 miles you will come to the Blanco Basin Road on your left. Turn
onto it and proceed 11.6 miles, watching for the "11651" signs to your right. Turn right down this private
road and look for the parking area on the left (just before the bridge). NOTE: If you see a white house
with a blue roof on the left side of the Blanco Basin Road, you have gone too far.
